In this activity, the students will advance their all-around abilities & qualifications in self-study, teamwork and communication. It will form the solid base for the future to be a real "International Elite".
整体活动方案由中国和美国名校教育专家操刀设计，并在充分掌握独立课题研究方法的基础上进行实践。
The program was designed by experts from China Education Online, China International Education Institute, Chinese and American top universities. Students in this program will be instructed on methods of conducting independent applied research.
指导老师均为美国名校毕业、熟悉独立课题研究和报告撰写的中国籍或美国籍名师。他们将指导学员进行选题和调研方案设计、文献检索、调研设计、收集数据、分析数据、撰写调研报告、宣读和发表报告等全过程。并引导学员通过"探究式学习"方式，自主选择研究课题，通过小组合作、境外学习、对象采访等形式进行课题研究。
Our advisers are all graduated from elite universities in the United States, who are familiar with independent research and report writing coming from China and America. They will guide students to select topics and design research program, to help them finish topics selection, to finish the whole process including literature retrieval, research design, data collection, data analysis, writing research reports, presentations and publishing reports. And to guide the students choose the research topics through the "Inquiry Learning" approach, and through group cooperation, overseas learning, object interviews and other forms to do the research.

Developing the Road to Success with the Platform of Exhibiting Research Achievements
学员的研究成果将以书面报告在网站"GFL中外人文交流专题研究计划"栏目中进行发表，部分优秀内容将摘录纳入《2017 年出国留学调查报告》。参与《2017 年出国留学调查报告》发布会，以小组为单位对研究成果进行展示，并邀请优秀成果学员参与美国 "中国国际教育年会"留学论坛发言。
Students' research achievements will be published in a written report on the China Education Online website, "GFL Sino-Foreign people to people exchange program", part of the content will be included in the "2017 study abroad report". The reports designed in groups can participate in China Education Online "study abroad in 2017 report" conference, in order to show the results of the research. Outstanding participants may be invited and to give a speech in "China Annual Conference for International Education".

China Education Online will provide comprehensive quality assessment report for participants in the project, together with the students' essays, professors' recommendation, as important criteria for overseas schools to choose top students. Participants who have a strong academic and research competence will be favored even without good standardized test scores.

研究成果将通过每年教育部支持的《出国留学调查报告》发布会和出版对外发表，优秀成果学员还将有机会在"中国国际教育年会"论坛发言，和推荐到国内外专业学术期刊发表的机会。以此可获得报考高考自主招生时获得优先录取。
Study abroad research results will be published in the "investigation report", supported by the Ministry of Education, the students with outstanding achievements will also have the opportunity to hold a speech on the "China Annual Conference for International Education" and to recommend to publish articles in the domestic and foreign academic journals. This can be applied for admission to college entrance examination enrollment with priority.

"GFL" is to cultivate real international elite talent, which not only requires excellent abilities on written and spoken English, but also needs to understand the differences between Chinese and Western culture since childhood, to accept the international training of critical thinking and to have all round education with a positive and healthy personality.
