采购过早 It was the Christmas Day and the judge of Britain was in a good mood as he questioned the prisoner. “What are you charged with?” he asked。

“Doing my christmas shopping early,” replied the defendant。

“That’s no offense,” frankly replied the judge, “How early were you doing this shopping?”

“Before the store opened,” countered the prisoner。

那天是圣诞节，英国法官在审问犯人时心情也好了起来。“人家控告你什么呀？”他问道。

“采购圣诞节物品过早，”被告答。

“那不算犯法，”法官坦率地回答道，“你购物有多早呢？”

“在商店开门之前，”犯人应道。
